SUMMARY:Accountability Court Practitioner Training for New Attorneys
DESCRIPTION:This training is designed for attorneys who are new to accounta
 bility court practice (less than five years’ experience) and will offer 
 foundational knowledge\, practical skills\, and a strong understanding of 
 the treatment court model. Speakers will include accountability court judg
 es and experienced attorneys and will cover Georgia-specific core accounta
 bility court legal issues such as due process\, sanctions\, treatment\, a 
 case law overview\, and ethics and professionalism. Attorneys from all acc
 ountability court types are welcome\, but the training will focus on crimi
 nal court procedure in superior and state court. \n\n The CACJ Training 
 Acknowledgement and Agreement (TAA) is required and must be signed by all 
 parties to complete registration.\n\nIf approved to attend\, additional de
