DESCRIPTION:This follow‑up webinar will focus on common challenges courts
  face as participants work to obtain or reinstate their driver’s license
 s. DDS will provide clarifications on key issues such as record gaps durin
 g transfers\, correct permit issuance\, revoked versus suspended licenses\
 , hardship waivers\, and requirements for reinstatement. DDS will also giv
 e advice on how to make sure your participants can protect themselves thro
 ughout this process. The session will also highlight resources for identif
 ying DBHDD‑approved assessors and understanding assessment requirements.
 \n\nWe will share lived experiences from courts and give practical solutio
 ns and successful approaches to improving communication\, reducing delays\
 , and helping participants better understand what they must complete to re
 gain driving privileges. Please note that this statute only applies to AFD
 CS\, MHCs\, VTCs\, and DUI Courts. FTC and JTC team members are welcome to
  attend but should be aware that not all the information will be applicabl
 e to those court types.
