Cognitive Behavioral Interventions - Core Adult (CBI- CA) Training
Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions – Core Adult (CBI-CA) is designed to provide a thorough intervention that broadly targets all criminogenic needs. As the name suggests, this intervention relies on a cognitive- behavioral approach to teach participants strategies to manage risk factors. The program places heavy emphasis on skill building activities to assist with cognitive, social, emotional, and coping skill development. The curriculum may be implemented as a standalone program or as a part of a more comprehensive treatment package, and it also includes modifications for participants who have mental illnesses.
CACJ has planned to sponsor a training for 18 adult treatment court treatment providers.
The CACJ Training MOU is required to register for this training.
- The training is tentatively planned as an in person event.
- Overnight lodging and meals are provided to attendees, mileage and non-provided meals are also reimbursable according to the SAO Travel Policy.
- The training location will be announced when registration opens.
- Registration will open November 1, 2021 and close December 1, 2021.
- The CACJ Training MOU signed agreement is required to complete registration.
- Additional details will be provided to attendees upon confirmation of attendance.
