This session will provide a brief overview of the Georgia appellate legal authority on accountability courts, focusing on recent cases. Best practice recommendations based on the Georgia law and persuasive authority from other jurisdictions will be provided as well.

This session will provide a brief overview of the Georgia appellate legal authority on accountability courts, focusing on recent cases. Best practice recommendations based on the Georgia law and persuasive authority from other jurisdictions will be provided as well. This session is aimed at attorneys and judges in AFDCs, MHCs, VTCs, and DUI Courts, but coordinators and other team members are welcome to attend . Some of the material will be relevant to FTCs, and FTC attorneys, judges, and other team members are welcome to attend as well.
