Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Education, resources, and implementation support for accountability courts

Overview

CACJ supports accountability courts and treatment providers by providing education, resources, and implementation support related to medication for addiction treatment (MAT). MAT is an evidence-based approach that combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral health services to support individuals with substance use disorders.

CACJ’s role is focused on supporting program-level understanding and implementation of MAT within accountability court settings through guidance, training, and resource sharing.
