Treatment Quality & Fidelity

Supporting effective, ethical, and evidence-based treatment in accountability courts

Overview

CACJ’s approach to treatment monitoring focuses on overall treatment quality, with treatment fidelity serving as one important component of quality. Treatment quality includes how treatment is delivered, whether it aligns with evidence-based practices, the qualifications and practices of providers, and how well services meet participant’s needs. Fidelity monitoring helps ensure approved models and curricula are implemented as intended, while quality monitoring looks more broadly at effectiveness, consistency, and best practices across treatment settings. CACJ provides monitoring, and technical assistance to support continuous improvement in treatment delivery across accountability courts.
