Evidence-Based Curricula Training: CBI - SUA (North)
Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions – Substance Use Adult (CBI-SUA) is designed for individuals that are moderate to high needs in the area of substance abuse and are well-suited for criminal justice populations.
- Registration is limited to 18 attendees.
- In-person attendance is required.
- The meeting location is Atlanta, GA.
- Hotel accommodations and travel reimbursement are provided to eligible attendees.
To use the program, group facilitators must first be trained by the UC Corrections Institute on the curriculum. Once trained, staff can immediately implement and begin using the curriculum to run group treatment sessions.
Per the CACJ Rules and Standards, before beginning to administer any treatment services or curricula to accountability court participants, all treatment providers must be appropriately licensed and certified to administer those curricula and services.
This course is considered an Evidence-Based Curriculum Training Course subject to a Treatment Monitoring Visit.
The CACJ Training Acknowledgement and Agreement (TAA) is required and must be signed by all parties to complete registration.
