  • When does registration open for the conference?

    Monday, July 11, 2022 - Friday, September 16, 2022.

    Coordinators/directors will receive an email from ICJE’s Event Coordinator, Laura Kathryne Hogan on Monday, July 11th at 9:00am.

    After September 16, 2022, CACJ is unable to accept new registrations. However, attendance substitutions can occur within the same organization. 

    The conference housing block will also open July 11, 2022. If the conference registration email was not received please email CACJ Training & Operations Manager, Kimberly Howard at [email protected]

  • How can I register to attend the conference?

    Accountability court coordinators are the primary contact for team member registration. Please contact your program coordinator to confirm your eligibility to attend the conference.  CACJ will use online communication platforms to provide all conference related information concerning conference events, activities, award nominations and registration. There are no paper registration or nominations forms. CACJ will not accept on-site registrations, all attendees must register for the conference by the deadline of September 16, 2022.

  • Will there be any virtual components of the conference?

    No. The 2022 conference is an in-person only event. 

  • Will meeting room capacities be altered for safety?

    Yes.

    CACJ will provide physically-distant seating to allow individuals who wish to physically distance while in sessions to do so comfortably. Additionally, to help attendees communicate their level of comfort in interacting with one another CACJ will provide optional physical safety ribbons to all attendees who wish to communicate their physical distance preference. Early registration is encouraged as all courses have capacity limits and may fill-up quickly. 

  • Are Continuing Education Hours/Units offered for attendees during the conference?

    Yes. Attendees can view the status of approved hours by visiting the CACJ website here. Credit will be awarded based on the session selections made during registration and attendance records captured during badge scanning. Specific instructions will become available for attendees seeking credit and communicated onsite during the conference.

    Please note CACJ and ICJE does not pay fees for individual hours/credits. 
     

  • Are meals provided during the conference?

    Yes, the following meals are provided by CACJ during the 2022 conference:

    Sunday, October 9

    • Networking Reception 

     

    Monday, October 10

    • Breakfast 
    • Lunch 

     

    Tuesday, October 11 

    • Breakfast 
    • Lunch 

     

    Wednesday, October 12 

    • Breakfast 

     

    The conference will also have refreshment breaks scheduled in the morning and afternoon. 

     

  • Where can I find session handouts, PowerPoints, and speaker biographies?

    The 2022 annual training conference mobile app is the best option to receive updated information during the event. 

    If a speaker has provided session handouts and a PowerPoint, the documents will be available on the CACJ 2022 annual training conference mobile app.  The conference mobile app will be available to registered attendees by October 1, 2022.

    Handouts and PowerPoints are expected to be posted online (CACJ website) by Friday, October 7, 2022. 

  • How can I change my schedule?

    There are two options to change your schedule of classes. 

    Before the Conference

    •  Attendees can log into the event management system with the username and password to update course selections until 9/16/2022.  If you experience technical difficulties and need to update your schedule, please email Casey Semple at [email protected].

    During the Conference 

    •  Attendees should report to the help desk located in the Atrium to update course selections.
  • How can I cancel my registration or request a substitution?

    Please email ICJE's Event Coordinator, Laura Kathryne Hogan at [email protected] or Casey Semple at [email protected].

    REPLACEMENT/TRANSFER: If you are unable to attend for any reason, you may be permitted to transfer your registration to another accountability court team member within your court/agency without penalty. Submit your request (include your program coordinator and program name) via email stating your request to transfer registration to another team member. 

    CANCELLATION: Attendees may cancel registration at anytime via email. CACJ kindly requests prompt cancellation notices. Telephone requests will not be honored.

  • How will I know if my registration is complete?

    After completing conference registration attendees will receive a confirmation email from this email address [email protected].

     Please check your spam or junk folder. If the confirmation email is not received, please email us.  

  • Will attendees receive a certificate of attendance?

    Yes. All registered attendees will receive a certificate of attendance. Certificates of attendance are provided after conference evaluations are completed. The expected time frame of delivery is December 1, 2022.

  • Will CACJ require all attendees and staff to wear face masks/coverings during the 2022 annual training conference?

     

    **Update** Effective August 4, 2022, Athens Clarke County has removed the indoor mask mandate.  At this time, masks are NOT required inside The Classic Center facility. 

    On March 1, 2022 the Supreme Court of Georgia lifted its requirement to wear masks and socially distance See: REVISED-SCT-MASK-POLICY-_MARCH-1-2022_to-post.pdf (gasupreme.us). The CACJ plans to follow their lead, and effective 3/1, masks and social distancing are no longer required. However, attendees may choose to wear a mask or social distance based on their needs. CACJ is committed to the safety of everyone and encourages attendees to do what they feel is best for their health and welfare. Hand sanitizer will be available and meeting rooms will have adequate space to social distance.

    Effective February 23, 2022, Athens Clarke County has lifted the indoor mask mandate.  At this time, masks are not required for entry inside The Classic Center facility.  

    Effective July 14, 2022, Athens Clarke County has reinstated the indoor mask mandate.  At this time, masks are required inside The Classic Center facility**

    CACJ and ICJE will continue to follow the Classic Center's lead and update attendees accordingly.

  • What happens if attendees start to feel sick?

    Attendees should not attend any events, training classes, sessions or other activities if not feeling well. 

  • Will there be an exhibitor hall at the conference?

    Yes. CACJ expects to have a variety of vendors during the 2022 conference. 

  • What are the attendance requirements for the 2022 conference?

  • How can I request a waiver of attendance for the 2022 conference?

    Coordinators or Judges, please email [email protected] to request a waiver of attendance. 

  • Is there anything new that attendees should know about the 2022 conference ?

    Yes. The 2022 event will introduce a variety of new items including: 

    • Registration system with breakout sessions identified as tracks and by content level
    • Self check-in kiosks upon arrival to the conference 
    • Robust mobile app 
    • Team building activities including a scavenger hunt and team roundtables
    • Wayfinding signage to help attendees navigate the convention center
    • Badge scanning at breakout sessions
    • Zumba (wellness) session 
    • Ribbon wall
