The A.R.T. contest is a special galleria of accountability court participants and alumni art where 1,412 accountability court professionals and guests could view the art submissions. Programs were encouraged to submit artwork to display at the annual training conference. This year’s art theme was “Self-Mastery”, and 45 individuals submitted their masterpieces. Conference attendees were encouraged to visit the A.R.T. gallery and vote on their favorite works. The CACJ staff tallied the votes and announced the following winners:
First Place – “The War Within” by Anthony H., Fulton County Veterans Treatment Court
Second Place – “When Fortune Knocks” by Sierra A., Cherokee County Accountability Court
Third Place – “Down the Rabbit Hole” by Issac M., Troup County DUI Court
There are 189 certified accountability court programs in Georgia, and the mission of the CACJ is to provide a unified framework that promotes and improves the quality, accessibility, and administration of accountability courts with a vision to make accountability courts work for all Georgians.
