Apply for Adult Felony Court Certification
By certifying your court, it will be eligible for state funding (per O.C.G.A. § 15-1-19). Since certification requirements are based on standards and best practices developed from national research, you’ll also have the opportunity to improve functioning and outcomes of your court.

Complete the Application
For help understanding the structure of the application, reference the
Adult Felony Court Certification Instructions .
Keep in mind:
- Not meeting a requirement will not automatically disqualify you from receiving funding.
- Ensure all attachments are clearly marked and easily identified.
- Work with your DUI Court team to complete the Certification Application.

Submit
Upload the Application and supporting documents.
Failure to submit the Certification Application on time will compromise the ability to review your submission and provide timely recommendations on certification eligibility.

Report Your Data
Courts must collect and report data every quarter to maintain their certificate and continue to be eligible for state funding. CACJ gathers court data into a yearly report.
Participate in Peer Reviews
Certified programs are subject to a performance peer review no less than once every three years.
